Is this the Forty Niner’s week?  Off to a rough start this season, the SF 49ers host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.  Festivities begin at 4:05 pm.  See link below for schedule and additional details.


 Every caught a collegiate Men’s Water Polo game in person?  This weekend, beginning tonight at 7:00 pm, is SCU Men’s Water Polo’s home tournament, otherwise know as the Rodeo.  Kind of a mix of soccer and rugby, water polo is played in a deep swimming pool.  The event schedule is posted at SCU website.  Here is the link:  http://santaclarabroncos.com/sports/m-wpolo/2016-17/schedule.  Come catch a game.  You may be confused by some of the rules, but you’ll be amazed by the skill and fitness of these athletes.

San Francisco Feet Week

Be a part of the fall tradition here in the Bay Area. Check out Fleet Week.  Official viewing area is on the Marina Green, but much of the event is visible on the waterfront area.  Ships are docked and visitors may go onboard; The Blue Angels are in town along with the Air Force’s F22 (Pictured Above).  Visit the Humanitarian Relief Village;  Learn how the Air Force prepares both itself and our communities in case disaster strikes.  Event runs through 10/10 with Air Show on the 7th, 8th and 9th.  See link below for additional details.


Los Altos Wine Walk

Enjoy the bounty of our local wineries at this year’s Los Altos Wine Walk.  Event to be held this Saturday, 10/8, at the Rancho Shopping Center.  Check-in near the stage.  Early Bird pricing is $30.  Day of will be $35 and runs from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  See the link below for additional information.

Local Sports

Football:  The SF 49ers are in town this weekend, hosting the Arizona Cardinals at Levi Stadium tonight.  See link below for additional details.


Baseball:  Another reason I love the Fall….the best of baseball is happening right now.  Catch our  local team in the Wild Card hunt as they take on Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Friday night at 6:15 game time.

At the Box Office

I have seen this book everywhere I go lately….and the movie debut is this Friday:  The Girl on the Train.  Catching a good movie is always a great get away.  See link below for additional details.
