The last weekend of July is upon us….Here’s some of the fun to be had this weekend. Take a look!
Do you smell the Garlic yet?? This weekend the 38th Annual Gilroy Garlic Festival is the place to be for all you garlic lovers out there! The event runs each day from 10:00 am through 7:00 pm beginning Friday, 7/29 and running through Sunday, 7/31. Caltrain has brought back the Garlic train, leaving out of Diridon station. A little too hot for you down in Gilroy? Head to San Francisco. It’s sure to be 30 degrees cooler! While in town, catch a Giants game. They host the Washington Nationals beginning tonight, Thursday 7/28 and it’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Night – Game time 7:15 pm. Saturday, 7/29 is also a 7:15 pm start and it is Wine Fest. Saturday and Sunday’s games both have 1:05 pm start times with Saturday being Buster Hugs Mugs give-away and Sunday being Bruce Bochy Gnome give-away……I have a feeling I’m going to a lot of the Gnomes around!
Need a little culture? How does Shakespeare in the Park sound? You’ll find this free event in Cupertino at the Memorial Park Amphitheater. Performances are on Saturday, 7/30 and Sunday 7/31. Showtime is 7:30 pm.

Catch a Taste of New Orleans at California Great America. You’ll find Cajun Style, Southern Fun: Food, Jazz, drinks (& Fireworks). All day Saturday, 7/23/16.
Finally, catch some A’s Baseball. They end their homestand vs the Rays.

As we move into the Post Fourth of July part of summer, we once again pace ourselves for regular length work weeks and our two day weekends. Here are some ideas for stuff to do beginning right now!

Looking for a tech tune-up? Catch the SHAPE AT&T Tech Expo happening at AT&T park this Friday, 7/15 and Saturday, 7/16. Friday’s activities begin at 3:00 pm and run through 10:00 pm. Saturday’s begin at 9:00 am and run through 9:00 pm. Of special interest for those of you with little ones, is Saturday’s Maker’s Camp, running from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. For many, summer equals baseball. Catch the A’s as they begin a homestand vs the Blue Jays. Friday night’s game has a 7:05 start with both Saturday and Sunday’s games beginning at 1:05.
