Weekender 12/8/16
We have a South Bay centric Weekender this time! As I am from this area, I hope that you’ll be able to join in some of the fun and wonderful atmosphere of one of my favorite areas of the greater SF Bay Area. Take a look:

First-Ever Winterfest at Avaya Stadium, Saturday, 12/10 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm. This event is tied to the Earthquakes Toy Drive for Sacred Heart Community Services (the toy give away will precede the 12:00 noon start). For the actual event, think snow, without the long drive to the mountains! There will be over 2100 cubic feet of snow just to play in, giant snow globes, jump houses and much more. Please review all the information and activities on the link below.

Ready for some old-fashioned holiday fun? There’s no better place than San Jose’s downtown Willow Glen. The city is bringing back the cable car rides for viewing the nearby neighborhoods and their holiday lights. This event begins on Friday night, 12/9/16 and runs through Wednesday, 12/21. Pick-up is at the Bank of America on Lincoln Ave. Please click on the link below to see the cable car’s schedule and associated fees. Downtown also has great spots for holiday photos…grab a hot chocolate and walk through town!

Perfect time to catch a San Jose Sharks game too. They are in town taking on the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, 12/10. Game time is 7:30 pm. Our beloved Tiburones are having a good year, finding lots of ways to win. See link below for their whole schedule and additional information. Go Sharks!!
